As we head towards snow and ice season, just a reminder to all EV drivers to ensure that charging cords at public chargers are coiled up properly and off the ground. These cords can be hidden by snowfall and be damaged by snow clearing equipment!
So if you use it, put it away properly. And if you are passing by a charger and see it not hung up, be a nice human and hang it up properly if you are able.
Most charger brands have a contact us phone number or email, so be sure to reach out if you find a cord frozen in the ice and snow. Be sure to include the station identifier number.
